My name is Ruben van Amerongen. I’m at home in education, with a specialisation in labour law. I advise and litigate on labour law issues. Examples include individual and collective dismissal matters, improvement processes, privacy and personnel, occupational incapacity and the amendment and drafting of employment contracts. I do this mainly for educational institutions, (large) companies and public organisations.

By immersing myself in both the wishes of my client and the interests of the organisation I arrive at appropriate, practical, clear advice – which my client can immediately apply. I find that it’s important, in my role, to pay attention to the background of the case and to actually solve the problem for my client. I also like to share my thoughts with my clients on how to prevent problems, rather than solve them retrospectively.
