Sharon Aaldering

Attorney at law
To contact details

My name is Sharon Aaldering. I’m at home in land law and real estate and I’m specialised in land acquisition (via expropriation, obligations to tolerate and the Municipalities Preferential Rights Act), lease and prescription. I use my knowledge to advise and litigate for (semi) public authorities in large-scale infrastructural projects. I also assist private individuals, companies and landed estates. For example, when they must deal with government intervention, leasehold, or prescription issues.

Before joining Nysingh, I worked for more than four years for various municipalities and water boards – as a legal consultant in the field of land law and real estate. This has given me an excellent understanding of the administrative aspects, as well as knowledge of the issues in the physical domain. My CV can be found on LinkedIn.

In addition to my law studies, I also have a master’s degree in business administration. This broad background, combined with my experience in public authorities, enables me to look at cases from different perspectives. I am precise, committed and performance-oriented, with a down-to-earth, pragmatic attitude. And I enjoy working together with my clients to achieve optimum results.

My knowledge of leasehold and expropriation law is also made accessible via Nysingh’s leasehold blog (Pachtblog) and expropriation blog (Onteigeningsblog). My colleagues and I regularly share news, insights, and knowledge in these blogs. I also provide (online) courses and publish in professional journals.
