My name is Henry van Essen. Specialising in education and employment law, I have broad experience in the field of education and government. I work for educational institutions, public authorities and companies.
I assist schools in complaints procedures and procedures concerning the admission, suspension, removal, appropriate education and public safety. I also advise educational institutions on partnerships, mergers, internal and external supervision, governance and employee participation. Finally, I advise and litigate on the Compulsory Education Act.
In addition to this, I advise and litigate on various employment law matters, such as dismissal, poor performance, employment disputes, employment conditions and amendments to these conditions, as well as on non-compete clauses, the law of collective bargaining agreements, transfers of undertakings, remuneration standards for senior executives and employee participation.
