My name is Jessica de Roos. I’m at home in land acquisition and tenancy law. My clients include regional water boards, provinces, municipalities and the Ministry of Waterways and Public Works. I advise water boards on their property policies and assist them in land acquisition for dike improvement. I also assist provinces and municipalities in, for example, the realisation of local and regional projects. My goal is to work together with the relevant local authority to ensure timely land acquisition at a fair level of compensation. In the process I advise on acquisition and negotiation strategy, choice of instrument and compensation calculation method.
I am also happy to assist private individuals, businesses and estates. I make sure, for example, that clients confronted with expropriation or leasehold termination are fully compensated.
I have worked intensively with many of my clients for many years. My style is characterized by sharp analysis, correct strategy and a goal-oriented approach. I like to immerse myself in complex legal issues and come up with creative solutions.
