My name is Rense Lubach. I specialise in private law in relation to the public sector and public sector liability and I’m at home where private and public law come together. With this knowledge I not only advise public authorities (municipalities, provinces and water boards), but also insurers, regulators and various non-profit organisations. If necessary, I look after their interests in legal proceedings before the civil courts and the administrative courts.
Before coming to work at Nysingh in 2016, I had more than 10 years’ practical experience at Houthoff Buruma in Amsterdam. Before that I lectured and obtained a doctorate at the University of Groningen. I enjoy sharing my specialist knowledge as a regular lecturer at legal training provider OSR, as a guest lecturer and as a speaker at conferences. I am also editor of a monthly property law magazine.
