Nysingh is not liable for any damage whatsoever that may arise as a result of the lack of clarity or the incompleteness of the data included in this website. Nysingh does not guarantee the reliability of sending information to it via the internet, by e-mail or via our website. Nysingh cannot guarantee that information sent to Nysingh in the manner set out above reaches Nysingh confidentially and undamaged.

Nysingh Privacy Statement

For Nysingh advocaten-notarissen N.V. (hereinafter also referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”), carefully handling your (personal) data is a matter of course, also in our capacity as controller within the meaning of the GDPR. After all, confidentiality and privacy have always formed part of our code of conduct as lawyer or civil-law notary.

Data collected by us

The personal data we process from you are only used for the purposes described below and on the basis of the legal grounds listed below.

The personal data you provide to us or that we have acquired from (public) registers (such as the commercial register or the land registry) are not shared with third parties, unless this is necessary for the performance of our work or unless we are legally obliged to provide those data.

Purposes of the data processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To perform the service you have assigned to us;
  • To comply with our legal obligations;
    For commercial activities, such as sending relevant documents like newsletters and e-books or invitations to meetings, to contact you by telephone or otherwise, as well as other communication that we believe may be important to you;
  • To handle your job application or internship or internship request and for meetings that we organise for parties interested in a position at our company;
  • To generate statistics related to the use of our website and/or to analyse and/or improve our website.

Legal grounds of the processing

We base the processing of your data on the following legal grounds:

  • The execution of an agreement concluded with you;
  • Compliance with a legal obligation;
  • A legitimate interest;
  • Your express consent. We will expressly request your consent. If you have given that consent, you can always modify or withdraw it via privacy@nysingh.nl.

Retention

We do not retain your personal data longer than is necessary to achieve the aforementioned objectives or to comply with laws and regulations.

Security

We have taken measures to secure your data and personal data, both in a technical and organisational sense. If you have any questions about this matter or if you believe that your data have been misused, we urgently request you to contact us via privacy@nysingh.nl.

Support

In order to be able to perform our services properly, we use external suppliers, for example IT companies. We have concluded processing agreements with these suppliers in which we have arranged that your data are protected and secured. These agreements meet the GDPR requirements.

Cookies on our website

We use “cookies” in order to structure our website as informatively as possible. Using Google Analytics, Hotjar and Hubspot, among others, we analyse the use of our website on the basis of anonymous cookie data. You can block these cookies by changing your web browser settings yourself.

Your rights

The GDPR gives you the option to, among other things, inspect the personal data we store from you, to request us to change or delete them or to indicate that you wish to correct or supplement these data. You also have the right to request a limitation of the processing of the data or to object to that processing. Finally, you have the right to request the personal data stored by us and relating to you, in the context of data portability.

If you wish to use one of these options, you can let us know via privacy@nysingh.nl. We will comply with your request where possible.

We will inform you if we cannot comply with your request because it would be in conflict with our obligations as lawyer or civil-law notary, in conflict with the law or when it is impossible for other special reasons.

You have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority at all times.
