My name is Floor de Smit and I specialise in administrative law as well as environmental and planning law. I use my expertise to advise and litigate on general administrative and procedural law issues, including enforcement law, environmental and planning law, encompassing zoning law, water management law, water boards legislation, the Roads Act and Road Traffic Act, the Open Government Act and privacy law. I do this for both public authorities and semi-public bodies.

Before I started working at Nysingh, I completed the Master’s in State and Administrative Law at the University of Maastricht. During my studies I interned at several companies, including for a firm of bailiffs and as an expert in youth protection law.

I take satisfaction from reaching a solution that matches my clients’ needs. I see legal challenges as an opportunity to use my analytic skills and offer creative solutions.
