My name is Jeroen van Kampen. I specialise in intellectual property and IT law, operating at the interface of law and technology. I advise and litigate on copyright, design, trademark and IT law. I mainly work for public authorities and semi-public bodies, as well as for medium-sized and large companies.
Before joining Nysingh, I studied at Utrecht University. My thesis on the technical function exception in intellectual property law has been published in book form. It won me the BMM student Award, which is presented by the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Law (a professional association of intellectual property law specialists). After graduating I worked as an intern at various law firms specialising in intellectual property and intellectual property disputes in particular. I was also an entrepreneur for almost two years, during which time I was the operational manager of a subsidiary of the University of Groningen. In addition, I enjoy and find it instructive to publish articles on intellectual property law in various magazines and journals.
With my passion, enthusiasm and love for innovation and the law, I am quick to share ideas with my clients and give them clear legal advice. Ideally, that advice is as pragmatic as possible, without any fuss and bother.
My colleagues and I share our expertise regularly on our website as well as in newsletters and at on- and offline seminars and live events.
Feel free to call or email me if you have any questions. I am happy to help.
