Attorney specialising in Dutch and European procurement law
My name is Julia van Broekhuijze. I specialise in Dutch and European procurement law. Drawing on this expertise, I advise and litigate a wide range of procurement issues. I act on behalf of both contracting authorities, from local and regional bodies to autonomous administrative agencies, and tenderers. I also handle a range of state aid issues.
Before joining Nysingh, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in European Law School and my Master’s degree in Civil Law at Radboud University. During that time, I was already working as a student employee at Nysingh.
I work with precision and an analytical focus, and I enjoy distilling complex legal issues down to their core. I also believe it is important to explain complex legal matters clearly and comprehensively, so that clients know exactly where they stand and can move forward with practical and well-founded advice.
I consider it important to look not only at the legal issue, but also at the people involved and the interests at stake. I am committed and approachable and I aim not only to provide clients with sound legal advice but also to offer them clarity and reassurance.
