Arnhem, May 1, 2025 – Marike Boersen joins Nysingh as a partner with immediate effect. From our Arnhem location she strengthens the corporate law team as a specialist in insolvency law and restructurings. Her arrival contributes to the further growth and specialization of us as a firm.
For thirteen years, Marike has been practicing as a lawyer, including ten years as an appointed trustee. She began her career at a medium-sized law firm in the region, where she has worked as a lawyer-partner in corporate law (insolvency law specialization) since early 2018. She is now continuing this position at Nysingh. In addition to her work as an attorney, she is active as a guest lecturer at the Grotius Academy, Radboud University and Utrecht University, among others. She is also a member of the editorial board of the Tijdschrift voor Curatoren and chair of the legislative advisory committee on insolvency law of the Netherlands Bar Association (NOvA).
She grew up in Veenendaal and knows Arnhem and the region well. “I have the ambition to grow further as a professional in this field. Nysingh offers me that opportunity. The name, network and relationships of this firm, combined with the fact that I am starting at full strength within a strong team, make it possible for me to achieve that ambition,” says Marike.

In recent years, Marike has gained extensive experience in WHOA proceedings. This law allows companies to restructure their debts, even when not all creditors agree to the plan.
