My name is Floor de Smit and I specialise in administrative as well as environmental and planning law. I advise and litigate on general administrative and procedural law issues, including enforcement law, environmental and planning law, including zoning law, water management law, water boards legislation, the Roads Act and Road Traffic Act, the Open Government Act and privacy law. I do this for both public authorities and semi-public bodies.
Before joining Nysingh, I studied at the University of Maastricht, where I obtained a master’s degree in constitutional and administrative law. During my studies, I completed various internships, including for a firm of bailiffs and also as a youth protection lawyer.
Working with a client to find a solution that meets their needs invigorates me. I see legal challenges as an opportunity to put my analytical skills into practice and to come up with creative solutions.
