My name is Marjolijn van Deventer, lawyer in employment law. I’m at home in the business world, education and the public sector. With this knowledge I advise directors, management boards, HR departments and regulators on their legal and strategic challenges. I do this in the fields of, among other things, industrial disputes, partner structures, restructuring, employment conditions, (anti-)competition and compliance.
A strategic thinker, legally sharp. Two terms that describe me well. As a lawyer I take a thorough, solution-oriented and practical approach to my work. I empathise with the interests of my clients and know how to ‘take away their worries’. As soon as I start on a case, I work energetically and do my utmost, but I also dare to be critical towards my clients. Only then can you be each other’s best sparring partner, outline the right legal path and achieve success.
As a certified MfN mediator I specialise in industrial and collaboration disputes. It is important to me as a mediator that both parties feel at ease and under my guidance can achieve a good solution to their dispute. Expertise, energy, professionalism and independence are key here.
