Administrative and Environmental Law Lawyer

My name is Maarten van Nijendaal. My specialism is on environmental law (i.e. the Environment and Planning Act) and general administrative and procedural law, including enforcement. I advise and litigate on environmental plans, environmental permits, the Open Government Act, water management and water board legislation, and the Roads Act and Road Traffic Act. I do so for public authorities and real estate companies.

I am also familiar with privacy law and the GDPR, including as regards requests for access and data breaches, and I advise public authorities and institutions on privacy and data processing issues.

I enjoy sinking my teeth into cases and tackling issues that clients are themselves unable to solve.  I do so enthusiastically and passionately.

The courses I give, both externally and in-house, make it clear that I have a firm grasp of my field.  My colleagues and I also share our knowledge in webinars, courses, newsletters and events such as afternoon workshops.

Feel free to contact me if you need advice or have any questions.
