I am Alex Lever. I have worked in the legal profession for 30 years and am experienced in (international) contract law, corporate law, company law and government private law. I frequently assist companies and interest groups in conflicts, including those with governments about (transposition of) national laws and regulations. Usually in the context of negotiations, but if necessary, also in legal proceedings in court and in (international) arbitration.
I also advise and assist public organisations and companies in the field of (cooperation in) ICT, energy, sports and entertainment, tourism, agribusiness, plastics, innovative technical research, applications and large infrastructural projects. I am involved nationally and internationally in the development and roll-out of franchise and distribution systems (wholesale/retail) and new (knowledge-driven) markets, licensing, R&D projects, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.
Internationally I have chaired the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution specialist group of TAGLaw, one of the largest international lawyers’ networks in the world, since 2004. This network enables me (and Nysingh) to provide high-level legal assistance to clients in every sector and jurisdiction on a same-day basis, around the world. Whether that assistance concerns advice, the conclusion of contracts, litigation or takeovers. There are virtually no lawyers in the Netherlands who can offer this service.
My approach is gutsy, no-nonsense, transparent, 24/7 and result-oriented and where possible, flavoured with humour. I expect my clients to have the same approach.
