My name is Folmer Helder and I specialise in environmental and planning law as well as administrative law. I advise and litigate on general administrative and environmental law matters and on supervision and enforcement issues, in particular with regard to public order and safety. I do this for water boards, municipalities and provincial authorities.

Before joining Nysingh, I worked as a legal consultant for two years, including for the Utrecht and Amsterdam municipalities, where I was involved in administrative and environmental law cases in the objection and appeal phases. That also provided me with a familiarity of spatial planning. I graduated cum laude from the Grotius general administrative law specialist course.

I relate well to my clients while keeping in mind the parties’ differing interests. This enables me to find the optimum solution to a problem. A contributing factor in this regard is that I cope well with stress.
