My name is Iris de Vries and I specialise in health law. I advise on and litigate for healthcare institutions, hospitals and individual healthcare providers in matters concerning health law, such as privacy and confidentiality, clients’ councils, supervision, quality, healthcare procurement and regulation. You can also contact me if you have any questions about the Dutch Medical Treatment Contracts Act, the Long-Term Care Act, the Care and Compulsion Act, and the Mandatory Mental Healthcare Act.
Before joining Nysingh, I completed a master’s degree in health law at the University of Amsterdam. Prior to that, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in IT law at the University of Groningen. I have also worked at various law firms as well as for the judiciary.
