My name is Ingrid van den Berge and I specialise in European and Dutch procurement law. I advise on all aspects of procurement, from drafting and assessing procurement documents, assessing situations against procurement law exceptions (such as urgent need, quasi-in-house, horizontal cooperation, lack of competition for technical reasons). I also litigate in these areas (in both preliminary relief proceedings and proceedings on the merits), chiefly for decentralised public authorities, independent administrative bodies, water boards, healthcare institutions and the National Police.
I am passionate about my work and committed to my clients. I always listen to ‘the question behind the question’ in order to find the most practical solution.
In addition to my legal work, I am a senior lecturer for the Grotius European and Dutch procurement law course. For a full description of my other activities, see my resume on LinkedIn.
My colleagues and I regularly share our procurement law knowledge and expertise on our website as well as in newsletters and at on- and offline seminars and various live events.
