My name is Sietse Piekaar-Koopmans. I specialise in corporate and company law. I advise businesses and institutions, both nationally and internationally, on mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, restructurings and corporate governance. In doing so, I regularly collaborate with our healthcare law team on mergers, acquisitions and other forms of cooperation within the healthcare sector.
Before joining Nysingh, I worked as a lawyer in Amsterdam, where I gained experience in corporate law disputes and insolvency matters. As I was regularly appointed as a bankruptcy trustee, I gained first-hand insight into how businesses operate under pressure. I bring this experience to my advisory practice. At Nysingh, I have further specialised in transactional work, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions.
